About No Bully For Me

No Bully For Me was founded in early 2003 by two targets of workplace bullying who made contact through the discussion forum linked with Tim Field's Bully On Line. Having made contact, Barb and Stephen met and decided to publicise an e-mail address, again through Tim Field's life saving site, and No Bully For Me was born.
Having worked to get the group off the ground, in early 2004 Barb decided she wanted to 'take a back seat' and concentrate on other parts of her life and Karen, another local target, and a member of No Bully For Me, offered to take over the co-administration of the group.
Since early 2003 we have had over 3000 people contact us, locally, from elsewhere in Canada, and from around the world.
We have an active mailing list of over 500 people.
Our ambition is simple and clear:
'adding insight to injury'
adding: making a contribution to the activism and empowerment of the targets of workplace bullying.
insight: to provide resources, information, contacts, workshops and meetings for targets of workplace bullying; knowledge truly is power.
injury: to provide support and resources, whether legal, psychological or medical, for those injured by workplace bullying; it is an injury, it will heal.

Contact Information and Guidelines
Our e-mail address is nobullyforme@gmail.com and a live link to that address is at the foot of each page. (We still receive and respond to messages sent to our ...@shaw.ca address but as of December 2004 we will begin to phase out use of this account.)
Both Stephen and Karen have access to this e-mail address but no one else. We both reply to e-mails we receive depending on who has most time to devote to our work at that moment, personal areas of expertise or experience, or knowledge of the specific inquiry.
At present we are unfortunately unable to respond to individual requests for advice, support or information. Sources for direct support can be found throughout our site, at our local group meetings and via our monthly newsletter.
If you wish to be added to our mailing list to receive our monthly-ish newsletter send us an email with 'subscribe' in the subject line. You will then receive the newsletter, news of our activities and other occasional mailings.
If at any time you wish to be removed from our mailing list, please send a message to nobullyforme@gmail.com with 'unsubscribe' in the subject line.
If you are a reporter, researcher or interviewer, please put 'media request' in the subject line of your message to nobullyforme@gmail.com.
If you wish to report broken links or find outdated information, please contact us with 'update' in the subject line.
Finally, though this again is at the foot of each page, may we draw your attention to our strict confidentiality statement:
Privacy policy statement: Please note that we commit to complete confidentiality; we will never disclose details of your situation or your contact information, such as your e-mail address, to any third party without your express permission.
